Library and Learning Resources

Learning doesn't stop when class ends, and neither does our support. Whether you're preparing for an exam, completing a research assignment, or simply exploring a topic that inspires you, the GTNI Library provides a welcoming environment where you can continue learning at your own pace, whenever you are on campus.

Open Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for borrowing books, the library offers a wide collection of printed resources covering nursing, biological sciences, social sciences, and English language studies.

Beyond the library shelves, you'll also have access to an extensive range of electronic learning resources both on and off campus. Through databases such as the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB), Elsevier ClinicalKey for Nursing, Nursing Reference Center Plus, and EBSCO e-Books, you can access evidence-based references, scholarly journals, e-books, and other trusted resources whenever you need them.

Academic Support hours

To further support your academic success, faculty members offer regular office hours, scheduled support sessions, and designated self-study periods, giving you additional opportunities to ask questions, deepen your understanding, and strengthen your learning through Moodle-based activities and self-assessments.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Services

Technology plays an important role in your learning experience, and our ICT team is here to help you make the most of it.

From your first day at GTNI through graduation, you'll have access to the guidance and technical support you need to confidently navigate the institute's digital learning environment. Whether you're connecting to campus Wi-Fi, using computer laboratories, accessing Moodle and other e-learning platforms, or resolving issues related to your student accounts and software, our ICT team is committed to providing timely support that keeps you connected and focused on your learning.

Beyond troubleshooting, we help you become familiar with the technology and digital resources available at GTNI, ensuring you can confidently use the tools that support your academic journey every step of the way.

Well-being Services

Your well-being is just as important as your academic success. At GTNI, we believe that learning flourishes when students feel supported, enabled, and connected.

Our well-being services are designed to help you build on your strengths, develop healthy coping strategies, and cultivate the personal skills that contribute to both academic achievement and lifelong development. Through seminars, interactive activities, individual meetings, and online resources available through Moodle, you'll find opportunities to reflect, grow, and maintain a healthy balance throughout your nursing journey.

Beginning in the Preparatory Bridging Semester, students are introduced to activities that encourage self-discovery and resilience through values exploration sessions and resilience training. As they progress through the nursing program, additional initiatives such as mindfulness seminars, strengths-building sessions, and mindfulness breaks provide opportunities to strengthen emotional well-being, enhance self-awareness, and develop practical strategies for managing the demands of academic and clinical life. Art therapy activities are also offered throughout the student journey, creating meaningful spaces for creativity, reflection, and personal expression.

Student Health Services

Taking care of your health is an important part of achieving your academic goals, and we're here to support you throughout your time at GTNI.

Your journey begins with an initial health assessment upon admission to help identify any accommodation or support you may need during your studies. Throughout the academic year, the Student Health Services create a trusted point of contact for health-related concerns, offering guidance, follow-up, and access to basic remedies and over-the-counter medications when appropriate.

When specialized care is needed, the office coordinates referrals to nearby hospitals and private specialty clinics while also assisting with medical accommodation, monitoring approved medical excuses, and ensuring that your health needs are supported so you can continue your studies with confidence.

Academic Advising Services

Every successful journey benefits from guidance, and your academic journey at GTNI is no exception.

From the beginning of the nursing program, you'll be paired with a dedicated faculty advisor who will support you in setting goals, overcoming challenges, and making informed decisions throughout your studies. Together, you'll develop a personalized plan that supports your academic achievement while encouraging your personal and professional growth.

Academic advising is an ongoing partnership built through regular meetings, email communication, and continuous follow-up. Whether you need academic guidance, help navigating challenges, or direction toward additional support services, your advisor is there to help you make the most of your experience from NU101 through NU202.

We're Here for You

Whether you are seeking academic guidance, technical assistance, health support, or opportunities for personal growth, GTNI's student services are designed with your success in mind.
