GTNI practices Social Distancing

As healthcare professionals, we have a public health duty to try and limit the spread of the disease.

Since the lock down began, all students were sent home to continue their learning journey online through GTNI's existing e-learning systems.

As the situation got more serious, staff who are above 60, had children, or with chronic diseases were also allowed to complete their tasks and duties from home. However, GTNI remains open to provide key services, while keeping distance. All staff who have returned from travels outside Hurghada are asked to self isolate for two weeks before coming to work. At the same time, a small percentage of the institute's housekeeping are still working to keep the institute well sterilized.

As for this year's graduation ceremony that was set to take place on April 13, GTNI graduates are destined to be patient till the pandemic is over and in correspondence with the Prime Minister’s decision of postponing all events that include large gatherings of citizens to fight the spread of the virus.

GTNI is getting ready for a successful start to the Fall semester and it is important to note that the institute's most important consideration remains its people's health, well being and safety.
